Peptide
A short chain of amino acids linked by peptide bonds.
What is Peptide?
Peptides are short chains of 2–50 amino acids joined by peptide bonds. They sit between single amino acids and full proteins in size, and act as signaling molecules in nearly every physiological system — hormones, neurotransmitters, growth factors, and immune modulators are all peptides or built from them.
