Growth Hormone Secretagogue
A compound that stimulates endogenous GH release.
What is Growth Hormone Secretagogue?
Growth hormone secretagogues (GHS) stimulate the pituitary to release growth hormone. The class includes GHRH analogs (e.g., CJC-1295, sermorelin) and ghrelin mimetics (e.g., ipamorelin, MK-677). Pulsatile release is preserved, distinguishing GHS from exogenous HGH.
