What is Thymosin α-1?

Thymosin α-1 is a immune modulation peptide studied for chronic viral hepatitis (approved use abroad) and vaccine response augmentation. A 28-amino-acid peptide naturally produced by the thymus. Research indicates it modulates T-cell maturation, dendritic cell function, and innate immune signaling. Approved in several countries (under the name Zadaxin) as an adjunct in hepatitis B/C and certain cancer protocols.
