What is ARA-290?

ARA-290 is a neuropathic · immune modulation peptide studied for small-fiber neuropathy and sarcoidosis and diabetic neuropathy. A synthetic 11-amino-acid peptide derived from the erythropoietin molecule. Research indicates it retains the tissue-protective (non-erythropoietic) effects of EPO via the β-common receptor, without stimulating red blood cell production.
