What is Zilucoplan (Zilbrysq)?
Zilucoplan (Zilbrysq) is a complement inhibitor · neuromuscular peptide studied for generalized myasthenia gravis (anti-achr antibody positive). A synthetic 15-amino-acid macrocyclic peptide that binds complement component C5 and blocks its cleavage to C5a/C5b, preventing formation of the membrane attack complex at the neuromuscular junction. Self-administered subcutaneously.
