What is Sermorelin?

Sermorelin is a growth hormone axis peptide studied for adult gh deficiency and pediatric short stature (historical). A synthetic 29-amino-acid analog representing the active fragment of endogenous GHRH. Stimulates the pituitary to release GH in a physiologic, pulsatile pattern. Previously FDA-approved (Geref) for pediatric GH deficiency diagnosis before discontinuation for commercial reasons.
