What is Motixafortide (Aphexda)?
Motixafortide (Aphexda) is a cxcr4 antagonist · hematology peptide studied for stem cell mobilization for autologous transplant in multiple myeloma. A long-acting synthetic peptide antagonist of the CXCR4 chemokine receptor. Disrupts the CXCR4/CXCL12 axis anchoring hematopoietic stem cells in the bone marrow, releasing them into circulation for collection. Used with G-CSF.
