What is GHRP-2?

GHRP-2 is a growth hormone axis peptide studied for gh release in adult gh deficiency and appetite stimulation in cachexia models. A synthetic hexapeptide that activates the ghrelin/GHS-R1a receptor, stimulating endogenous GH release. Compared to Ipamorelin, GHRP-2 produces a stronger GH pulse but also modestly elevates cortisol, prolactin, and appetite.
